This Joint Call 2021 is dedicated to advancing technology development, system integration, and innovation, with a strong focus on market-driven projects that are poised for large-scale implementation by 2030. The initiative boasts a substantial budget of approximately €32.5 million.

Supported by the GEOTHERMICA Initiative and JPP Smart Energy Systems, this call seeks to foster collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing geothermal energy and smart energy systems. By leveraging these partnerships, the call aims to drive significant advancements in sustainable energy solutions, ensuring they are ready for widespread adoption in the near future.

Call 1

GEOTHERMICA – ERA-NET Cofund call objective was to support projects with a broad range of topics, such as heat storage, managing induced seismicity, EGS drilling and completion, production operations, composite casing, and integrated applications of geothermal heat.
